Etna

by Chiara

Etna is one of the most active volcanoes in the world and it is in an almost constant state of activity.

We went under the volcano, inside a cave made by the lava. The entrance was really small because of the recent activity of the volcano and it was a bit dangerous because it could erupt anytime! The guide told us that was probably the last time he visited that cave…

We are coming!

Here we are at the top!

Some cold lava

It was really challenging going  up, I had no breathe! The top of the mount is at  3,329 metres (10,922 ft)!

I had a great experience and I hope I’ll be able to visit the other side in the future.

  • what an adventure, so beautiful. Lived in Tenerife for a bit and went up Mount Teide and yes, its so strange being light headed when you are up the top. x
